Online Store Policies

You may purchase items on this Site through our electronic shopping cart process. In addition to the Terms, the following policies shall apply to all online orders and sales.

Wine Club
You may join our wine club via this Site. Membership in the wine club is subject to our Wine Club Policy. The wine club may be discontinued or have it's terms changed at any time, and your participation in the wine club may be terminated if you fail to comply with any of the Terms.

Each of your wine deliveries will be two to three bottles, comprised of Single Vineyard and Wine Maker Signature Series small lot wines. Some of these wines have production lots as small as 200 cases! Included in each shipment is a special note from Gina Gallo, and an invitation to go online to access special member only pages at gallofamilystore.com to view the winemaker notes, special Gallo family recipes, and more! 

Complimentary tastings for the member and three guests when you visit our Tasting Room on the Plaza in Healdsburg, as well as our partner wineries such as Louis M Martini in St. Helena, the William Hill Estate in Napa, and Bridlewood in Santa Ynez. Your membership entitles you to a special 25% discount on all current vintages and merchandise on GalloFamilyStore.com, in person at the tasting room, and at our partner wineries. You also will receive a 30% discount on additional purchases of wines featured in each shipment for 60 days. The member of record MUST be present to receive any wine culb benefits, including but not limited to discounts on purchases.

You will also receive invitations to join us for unique vineyard experiences and special events. There is no fee to join. Your credit card will automatically be charged the discounted price of each club release, and shipping, an average of $50-$75 total per quarter.

Validating Your Order
After you place an order using our shopping cart, we will check the information you give us for validity by verifying your method of payment (e.g. billing address if using a credit card) and/or shipping address. We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us, and/or to limit quantities on any order, without giving any reason. If we reject your order, we will attempt to notify you using the telephone number, e-mail, and/or billing address you have given us with the order. Your credit or debit card will normally not be charged if we reject an order, but we will process a refund if the charge has been made against your card.

Order Acceptance/Confirmation
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.

Limited Quantities
In some instances state law regulates product availability and/or wine purchase limitations. Working within state and local laws may prevent our ability to fulfill order requests. We may, at our discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by the same Site account, the same credit card, and orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event we make a change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting you via telephone or e-mail and/or billing address provided at the time the order was made.

Inventory and Substitutions
Though we continually monitor our inventory to ensure product availability, there are times when products may be out of stock. We will call or e-mail you to determine if you would like to wait for the product to be in stock, substitute other items, or cancel part or all of the order. In cases where a substitution is necessary, we will contact you before shipping and provide the option to select other items. If you decide not to make a substitution, we will ship available items minus the out of stock item(s) or cancel the order if you prefer to do so. Your credit card will not be charged until we ship your order, and you will not be charged for out-of-stock items.

Legal Age Requirement
Wine may be sold and delivered only to a person who is at least 21 years old. By placing an order on the Site, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and the person to whom any wine (or other alcoholic beverage) will be delivered is also 21 years old. All states allowing wine shipments to consumers require an adult signature at the time of delivery. Proof of age must be produced upon a delivery carrier’s request. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. We comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding sale of alcohol to minors.

Third Party Processing Orders
We use a third party supplier, eWinery Solutions, Inc. (“eWinery”), to provide shopping cart services on the Site. eWinery securely collects, processes and stores all order data as necessary to perform their function. Our Privacy Policy has additional detail about how we collect and use information we receive from you.

Payment
We accept payment through the following credit cards: Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express® and Discover®. You may also purchase products via our telephone ordering system by calling our tasting room at: 707-433-2458, between 10:00am and 6:00pm PST, daily (excluding holidays).

Shipping
All orders placed on this Site are subject to product availability and will be shipped according to our Shipping Policy. By law, we are prohibited from shipping to certain states. We cannot ship outside the United States. We ship orders via third party carriers, such as United Parcel Service, and Federal Express.

Due to legal restrictions on shipments of wine and other alcoholic beverages, we are currently only shipping wine to states that are reciprocal with California. Those states include: AK, CA, CO, DC, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OR, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV and WY. At this time we do not ship any online store products outside the United States. Applicable sales tax will be added to your order at check out.

All alcoholic beverage orders must be placed and received by a person 21 years of age or older. All of the referenced states’ laws require an adult signature at the time of delivery. Failure to produce age verification upon request forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order will be shipped back to us at your expense.

You are responsible for all shipping charges unless we agree otherwise. Shipping charges will be calculated during the online ordering process. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable unless we sent the wrong item.

In our experience, you are likely to receive a shipment sooner if an adult will be available to sign for shipments at the Ship To address during business hours. For that reason we recommend using a business address. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

Returns and Exchanges
We are committed to your satisfaction with out products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return or exchange any product. Send the returned product to us at the address on the invoice, appropriately packaged and shipping prepaid. Include the invoice indicating which item you are returning (e.g. by circling it) and an explanation of why you are returning it. If you would like to exchange it for another product, please note the item you would like us to send and a delivery address, if different than the original order. For refunds, the credit card used for the original purchase will be credited in the amount of the product sale. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your bill. Following the wine trade tradition, all bottles ten years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk.

Errors on Our Site
Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and we reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account.
